I have 2 homes, one in New York and Pennsylvania. My Pennsylvania address is my primary and I commute to NY for work, but my insurance company is raising my premium and quoting for NY which raised my policy considerably. Even though I have proof that my primary is in PA they are still changing my policy to NY. How do I fight it and have them honor my policy?

Hi, i need a bike which is cheap to run, cheap to insure and first and foremost cheap to buy. I don't mind old second hand bikes unless advised against them because I believe you could learn a great deal repairing an old bike than having a new bike that nothing goes wrong with. It needs to grow with my abilities, i.e in a couple of years when i go to university I may want to motorway travel, therefore a 50 cc moped is just not going to do. Don't know whether this is correct, but I once read bikes are safer than mopeds/scooters because they have the acceleratory power to pull away from danger if necessary. Needs to be cheap to insure, I looked at a 300cc MZ Saxon and fully comp insurance was around 317. This is manageable, 2000 for a car is not. i am 20 and have been passed my test for 2 years but have no no claims bonus as i have been driving as second driver on someone else insurance but now want to get my no claims bonus and the prices are ridiculous i am looking to pay in the region of 1500 annually or 150 P/m which i thin is far to much. i have used the comparison sites and no luck just getting quotes for well over 2000 any help would be great.

I was laid off in December (company went under) and in March I got pregnant. I have not found a permanent job and at this point am not going to try - who's going to hire a pregnant woman, right?
